Methodology

Facts come from Medicare.gov, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services and 42 CFR Part 484 on the eCFR. We do not publish state rules; every state point sends you to your state. We do not publish costs, payment rates, timelines, survey outcomes or predictions about licensing or certification. Conditions of Participation are summarized as a topic map, not a manual. This site does not cover non-medical startup steps, state license tables, Medicaid enrollment, billing, written policies or caregiver hiring in depth; other guides also published by Home Care Agency Blueprint do.

Every decision guide item names its source, tells you to check your state, or is marked as your own planning. The guide shows counts, not a recommendation. Not legal, licensing, Medicare or financial advice.

Our conflict of interest

Home Care Agency Blueprint sells courses and coaching to people starting home care agencies, including startup packages. That gives it a reason to encourage you to start an agency. We try to counter that by sticking to cited sources and by keeping sales copy off the guide pages; this site links only to the free clarity call. Each page links to our booking page in the header, in one booking section at the bottom, and in the footer.

Privacy

There are no sign-up or contact forms on this site. The decision guide saves entries only in your own browser. There are no embedded videos on this site. See the privacy policy and terms on the Home Care Agency Blueprint site.
